Route 66 Revisited

It all started in the dustbowl of the American South, in jukejoints and roadhouses along the stretches of highway that link our nation. This show traces the history of America’s music, from Memphis to San Francisco and everywhere in between. We’ll explore the Georgia soul of Brother Ray, the California harmonies of The Eagles, and the Jersey rock n’ roll of The Boss. From the Man in Black to Mellencamp, it’s all branches on the same musical tree. We’ll revisit the artists of Woodstock, and travel back in time to Newport when Dylan plugged in and a new sound was born. With the best music from the classic artists that defined the landscape of American culture, Route 66 Revisited is a musical journey you’ll never forget!
