  1. Farm Tours at Verdant View

Experience a true working farm, family-operated, in Paradise, PA. The kids will especially like all the hands-on activities. You can take a 60 or 90-minute guided tour and milk a cow, feed new born calves, and feed the chickens and interact with other farm animals, venture inside a historic barn, and ride on a wagon out to the corn fields.

Also, join in a farm-to-table experience and take an introductory-level classes to learn about Homemade Ice Cream or Artisan Cheese-making. The farm is open seasonally, March-November.

Wave to the Strasburg Rail Road train as it passes through the scenic farm setting, and take a walk to the longest covered bridge in the area, about one mile away.

  1. Hershey Gardens
